Roberta Guthro

Roberta L. Guthro, 54, a resident of Nashua, NH died at her home after a sudden illness on July 12, 2022. She was born on December 30, 1967, in Nashua, NH a daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Smith) Lessard Sr. Roberta, “Roe,” was raised and educated in Nashua. She had a huge heart and would help anyone who was in need. To her, family was everything. She loved spending time with them during birthdays, holidays, hosting dinner parties, cookouts, or just being home with them. She was passionate about animals and was happiest cuddling and playing with her chihuahua Posey, who was always by her side. Roberta was a history buff, had a fondness for motorcycles and muscle cars. She loved her 80’s era music. She was looking forward to a dream vacation with her husband Curt to Ireland. Roberta worked as a sales representative in the steel industry for 15 years; as a teacher’s aide, she loved her students at Merrimack Valley Hebrew Academy in Lowell Mass; she was later self-employed in the field of beauty. Survivors include her loving husband, and high school sweetheart, Curt Guthro of Nashua, NH; three brothers, Raymond Lessard Jr and his wife Celine of Nashua, Daniel Lessard of Hudson, and Paul Lessard of Hudson, NH. Her best friends, Pamela Shumsky and Adam Fontaine; beloved Posey; brother-in-law Gary Guthro and his wife Teri of Mannsville, NY; Sister-in-laws Diane Marchand of Merrimack; Donna Guthro and Eric St. Louis of Hudson; Michelle and Jeff Valli of Newmarket; and Robin Nadeau and Michael Fontaine of Merrimack, Aunt Rita Lussier; Aunt Sheila Lessard; as well as her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by Lillian Russel, Stanley Guthro, and Mark Guthro. In accordance with her wishes there will be no calling hours held. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, with a Celebration of Life at Sky Meadow Country Club at 6 Mountain Laurels Drive, in Nashua, NH at 1:00 PM.
