Regina Lang

Regina Lang, 62, passed away from cancer on Sunday, August 27, 2023 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 24, 1961 in Albany, GA, daughter of Florence (Fowler) Gainnie and the late James H. McCool. She was also predeceased by a brother, Clifford “Bo” Cornett. Regina was the beloved wife of Edward Lang with whom she shared 26 years of marriage. She was a naturally nurturing woman, who developed strong relationships with all of those she came into contact with. Regardless if the person in her company was elderly or one of her children’s friends, the bond was immediate. Regina loved gardening, planting flowers, baking and cooking for family and friends, bird watching, antiquing and picking old New England homes as well as searching out vintage clothing. Regina was woman who loved to read books and when her children were young, she would give them each a word of the day to learn and use in conversation for that day. Regina’s favorite holiday was Christmas. Whether she was baking holiday cookies, making old fashioned hard candies, creating multiple flavored jams (which some years consisted of over 100 jars!), decorating the tree or showering the people dear to her with gifts, she embodied the meaning of Christmas. Regina was a waitress for nearly 35 years, actually meeting her husband, Edward, while waitressing at the former Kay’s Diner in Hudson. She later achieved her dream of opening her own vintage store. In 2016, Snap! It’s Vintage opened at 33 Main Street in Nashua, bringing her so much joy. Besides Regina’s devoted husband Edward, her loving family includes her children: Meghan, Cassandra, Alex, Christopher, and Cody, her grandchildren; Aiden, Andrew, Grayson, Madison, Owen, Colton, and Oliver, her two brothers Michael and Wayne, her sister Vicky, her mother in law and father in law Robert and Dawn Lang, and a brother in law Allen Lang. All friends, extended family, vintage pickers and patrons of Snap! It’s Vintage are welcome to a Celebration of Life that will be held on Saturday, September 16th starting at 11am at the family residence on 3 Prince Drive in Hudson, NH.
