Marc Duquette

Jean “Marc” Duquette 67 yrs old of Hudson NH passed Sunday Jan 24, 2016 St Joseph Hospital after battling brain cancer for 6 months. Marc was surrounded by his wife Helen and two sons Glenn and Joey at the time of his passing. He was born in Lac Megantic, Quebec on July 5, 1948 son of the late Philip Duquette and Alice Toulouse and was also predeceased by his older brothers Real and Gilles, sister Henriette, in-laws Leo and Anna (Roy) Plante, brother-in-laws; Luc, Marc, Renald, Andre, Rene Plante and sister-in-law Huguette (Plante) Faucher, brother-in-law, Ted Chomko and Laurent Beaudoin. Marc was in the construction industry all of his adult life, co-owner of Duquette and Reid LLC Drywall Contractors and worked on many new residential developments in the Nashua, Hudson, Litchfield NH areas. He took pride in his work, loved life, his wife and kids and loved his family and in-laws. Loved the baby doggy Monty too. Great family reunions were attended throughout his life. Favorite music Elvis and country. Marc was an avid Montreal Canadians Fan and NE Patriots. He leaves behind many loved ones, including his wife Helen (Plante) Duquette, two sons Glenn Duquette and his wife Carolyn Cormier of Merrimack, Joey Duquette and his girlfriend Jonelle Boilard of Litchfield NH. His sister Renette Duquette Beaudoin, his brother Andre Duquette (Huguette) of Nashua NH, his sister Solange Duquette and brother Jacques Duquette of Quebec Canada, his sisters-in-law Beverly Duquette (Gilles) Ontario Canada, Jackie Duquette (Real) of Nashua. His brother-in-law Mario Plante (Denyse) of Hudson NH, his sisters-in-law Lisa Pelletier (Leo), Nicole Guerette (Ed) of Nashua, Annette Plante (Luc), Mariette Plante (Renald) of Hudson NH. His sisters-in-law from Canada; Helene Lessard (Marc), Sylvie Chomko Plante, Jackie Plante (J. Marie), Guylaine Lessard (Roger) Helene Beaudoin (Andre), Francine Plante (Rene), his brothers-in-law Pierre Plante (Nicole), Jean Plante (Louise), Claude Plante (Helene), his brother-in-law Benoit Faucher (Huguette), many nephews and nieces, cousins, friends, extended family members; Micheline Gagnon, Rejean Rousseau, Lucie Chassé and Rene Robert. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday January 31st from 2-5pm at the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., Hudson, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated beginning at 10am the following morning, February 1st, at St. Kathryn’s Church, 4 Dracut Rd., Hudson.
