John Good

John W. Good, 83, passed away on January 6, 2022 at Massachsetts General Hospital following a prolonged illness. He was born February 15, 1938, son of the late John Wesley and Rose May (Sager) Good in Reasnor –FKA the Palto Alto Township, Jasper County, Iowa. John served as a military police officer from 1955 to 1963 with an honorable discharge . He attended Northeastern University where he earned an Associate in Science in 1972. John was a loving husband to Mary Good for 45 years, until her passing in 2015. They shared a wonderful life together, full of fond memories. They are now joined together again, enjoying a glass of red wine and touring Italy! John leaves behind his children, Susan Good Mazola and her husband Raymond. Stephen Good and his wife Pauline. Lauren Good and her husband Eric. And his stepdaughter Stephanie Miller and her husband Peter. Along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Robert, Alfred, Leona, Matilda and James. John was predeceased by his brother, Rick, and his sisters, Sue and Mary. John loved to travel. Italy being his favorite! He led an enriched life, traveling the world with his wife by his side. Living in various states such as Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Florida. John loved Boston and was thrilled to be living back in the city prior to becoming seriously ill. A Graveside Service is to be held at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, 185 Lake St., in Peabody, MA on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:00PM. All may please meet at the cemetery. A very kind man that took particular interest in John’s health and well being – even checking in on him on weekends and visiting him when hospitalized. You’ve come a long way, John W. Good.
