Diana LaMothe

Diana Gayle LaMothe, 55, of Hudson, NH passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 20, 1969 in Malden, MA daughter of Doris Smith of Londonderry, NH and the late Craig Smith. She was also predeceased by her brother, Craig Smith as well as by her brother in law, John McNeill. Diana was the beloved wife of Dean LaMothe of Hudson, NH with whom she shared 29 years of marriage. Diana was a self-employed CPA for over 20 years and met her husband, Dean, at Coopers & Lybrand in 1991. Diana enjoyed volunteering at the schools her children attended, was a previous member of the Hudson School Board, and championed many fundraisers and capital campaigns. Diana was involved in many activities, programs and committees at St Kathryn's Church in Hudson, NH and St Mark's Church in Londonderry, NH. Diana enjoyed spending time with family, especially her children, with whom she enjoyed a great friendship. She loved spending time at their Camp on Lake Winnipesaukee and entertaining family and friends on their boat throughout the summer months. She enjoyed family vacations, especially weekend trips to Boston or New York City. She loved playing volleyball and could be found dancing whenever or wherever possible. Diana also enjoyed running, playing pickleball, and cooking, especially homemade pasta. She was a loving and caring woman that will be missed by all who knew her. Besides her husband and mother, Diana is survived by; a son; DJ LaMothe of Hudson, NH and his significant other Megan O’Brien, of Needham, MA, a daughter; Sadie LaMothe of Hudson, NH, a sister; Doreen McNeill of Goffstown, NH, a sister in law; Tina Smith of Derry, NH. Diana also enjoyed any time she could spend with her 15 nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th from 4pm - 7pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street in Hudson, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 21st at 11am in St. Mark’s Church, 1 South Road in Londonderry, NH. All are asked to please meet at church. Burial will be private.
