Craig Alan Larouche

Craig Alan Larouche, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Craig was born on October 17, 1963, in Nashua, New Hampshire, and was raised in Hudson by his loving parents, Maurice and Charlotte Larouche. He grew up as part of a large and vibrant family, surrounded by the love and companionship of his many siblings. Though his parents and siblings Richard, Annette, and Rachel have passed before him, Craig’s memory and legacy will live on through his surviving siblings: Donald, Maurice Jr., Brian, Shawn, Joseph, James, Christopher, Jacqueline, Theresa, Patricia, Valerie, Amy, and Marrianne. Craig’s life was defined by love, devotion, laughter, and the people who meant the most to him. In 1981, while working at Scotties Shoe Factory, Craig met Debra Reitan. Their whirlwind romance blossomed quickly, and after just three months they became engaged. On May 5, 1984, they were married and began a life together filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. On February 2, 1987, their family grew with the birth of their beloved daughter, Mandy Lynne Larouche. The three of them shared many adventures and treasured moments that will remain in their hearts forever. Craig graduated from Alvirne High School in 1981. He spent most of his working life as a welder, dedicating his talents to H&M Metals, XL Corporation, and Sweeney/GTR Metal Fabricators. Beyond his work and family, Craig had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the simple joys of life. He loved hiking trails, geocaching, visiting York Beach, and spending time at Newfound Lake. When he wasn’t outside exploring, Craig could often be found immersed in video games and fantasy games or enjoying the expansive worlds of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Stargate. An avid reader, he especially loved the Forgotten Realms series and held the character Drizzt Do’Urden particularly close to his heart. Craig will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor. He had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, and his warmth extended to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Above all, Craig was a devoted husband and father. He treated Debra like a queen and cherished the life they built together. As a father, he adored Mandy and instilled in her the same values of love, kindness, compassion, and respect that guided his own life. The love he gave his family will remain one of his greatest and most enduring legacies. Craig’s friendships were also an important part of his life. His bonds with Donna, Ronnie, and Joe Gagnon; Kathy, Robert, Heather, Tyrel, and Curtis Gagnon; Corey Sawyer; and Peter Yeaton were built upon love, respect, loyalty, shared adventures, and plenty of laughter. These friendships were more than simply connections—they were a cherished part of Craig’s life and his story. Craig leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love that will continue through his family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, the laughter he shared, the kindness he showed, and the love he gave will never be forgotten. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street, Hudson, NH. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Cemetery, 75 Derry Road, Hudson, NH. All are invited to meet directly at the cemetery.
