Carol M Pied

Carol Mae Pied, 72, of Hudson, NH, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at her residence with her family beside her following a declining period of health. She was born and raised in Caribou, Maine. Carol was the beloved wife of Paul Pied of Hudson, with whom she was married to for almost 50 Years. She is also survived by her three children: son Mark Pied and his wife Denise of Tewksbury MA, daughter Karen Pied of Londonderry NH, and son Aaron Pied and his wife Erika of Rockville MD. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Amanda, Teagan, Landon and Gavin as well as a grand-doggy Mimi. Carol worked the majority of her career as a Registered Nurse in the Nashua area; many years of which was spent as a labor and delivery nurse. She was a kind and nurturing person whose smile touched everyone she met. Her children were lucky enough to have her as a stay at home mom when they were young. After returning to work in a few other areas of nursing, she went back to college to achieve her BA in Case Management. Carol loved the ocean, journalism, family time, and listening to music. She was known for her sweet and patient demeanor and would surprise you with a humorous comment out of left field to keep you on your toes. She was an amazing mother, wife, Nana and friend who will truly be missed. Her kindness lives through her husband, children, grandchildren and everyone who knew her. “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family” Mother Theresa Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1st from 5:00pm -7:00pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. IN HUDSON. A limited number of guests will be allowed inside the funeral home to visit with the family for a limited amount of time on a rotating basis. All guests are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering. A private graveside service for the immediate family will be held on Thursday morning July 2nd 2020.
