Partió en paz el 7 de septiembre de 2026, a la edad de 66 años, en su hogar de Hudson, New Hampshire. Hoy honramos la vida de una mujer extraordinaria que nació en Lima, Perú, fruto del amor de sus padres, Don Ricardo García y Doña Gloria Quezada. Hermana devota de tres hermanos a quienes amó entrañablemente, Carmen fue el pilar de un hogar edificado sobre la fe, el servicio y la entrega incondicional. Durante su matrimonio con Víctor, Dios la bendijo con el regalo de sus tres amadas hijas: Sally, Melissa y Betsy. Por ellas lo entregó todo, consagrando cada día a guiarlas, protegerlas y educarlas para convertirlas en mujeres de bien. Con el tiempo, ese amor desmedido floreció en una adoración absoluta por sus seis nietos: Matías es el mayor, seguido de Rodrigo, Rihanna, Ignacio, Joseph y la pequeña Victoria. Carmencita los cuidó y protegió como la mejor abuela que pudieron haber tenido, dejándoles un legado de dulzura infinita que permanecerá por siempre en sus corazones. Sus hijas y nietos eran su mayor orgullo, el motor de su vida y su mayor fortaleza. Su vocación de entrega no conocía límites. Priorizó siempre el bienestar de sus seres queridos, velando abnegadamente por su madre Doña Gloria y cuidando con devoción a su padre Don Ricardo hasta sus últimos momentos. En ese mismo espíritu de armonía, aun tras su separación, hubo gratitud hacia Víctor, quien estuvo presente en el cuidado y el bienestar de la querida mamá de Carmen en Perú. Llena de energía, disciplina y vitalidad, en su juventud en Perú fue una apasionada voleibolista que formó parte de diversos equipos de vóleibol, destacando por su espíritu deportivo y compañerismo. Estilista de profesión, disfrutaba consentir a sus seres queridos resaltando su belleza y cortándoles el cabello con el afecto que solo una madre y abuela sabe dar. Su creatividad y destreza no tenían fin: le apasionaba la costura, diseñando y confeccionando con sus propias manos hermosa ropa para sus hijas. Asimismo, su amor se saboreaba en su maravillosa sazón; le encantaba cocinar para los suyos y su mayor felicidad era ver a toda la familia reunida compartiendo en la mesa. Camuchita era el alma de cada reunión, una persona sumamente alegre, ocurrente, graciosa y bromista. Le fascinaba cantar en el karaoke y bailar, contagiando a todos con su entusiasmo inolvidable. Poseía un corazón puro que siempre sabía encontrar lo bueno en cada persona, abriendo de par en par las puertas de su hogar a quien necesitara ayuda. Nos regaló un sentido del humor único y una alegría luminosa que jamás perdió, ni siquiera ante las dolencias físicas, desbordando ocurrencias que transformaban los momentos difíciles en cálidas carcajadas. Su calidez y dulzura eran tan especiales que conquistaron el cariño sincero del personal médico y de los enfermeros que la atendieron durante los últimos años. Mujer de fe profunda, devota ferviente de la Santísima Virgen y constante en el rezo del Santo Rosario, sabemos que Carmen no se ha ido del todo; solo se nos ha adelantado en el camino y hoy descansa en la paz y presencia de Nuestro Señor, reencontrándose en el cielo con su amado padre Don Ricardo (fallecido hace 31 años) y su querido hermano Carlos (fallecido hace 22 años). Le sobreviven, con el corazón lleno de su amor, su apreciada madre, Doña Gloria Quezada; sus dos hermanos; sus tres amadas hijas, Sally, Melissa y Betsy; sus seis adorados nietos; sus yernos y toda una familia que la amará y recordará eternamente. Sus hijas siempre intentaron corresponder a ese amor inmenso que ella les regaló, sabiendo que era una tarea sumamente difícil, pues Carmencita fue sencillamente la mejor madre del mundo. Hoy, sus hijas, sus nietos y toda su familia sienten un hondo vacío por su partida, pero se acogen a la oración, confiando en que Dios les dará la fortaleza para sobrellevar esta tristeza. Aunque su presencia física ya no esté con ellos, su amor, sus enseñanzas y su luz guiarán siempre sus vidas. Querida Camuchita, vivirás por siempre en nuestros corazones y en nuestras oraciones. She passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, at the age of 66, at her home in Hudson, New Hampshire. Today we honor the life of an extraordinary woman who was born in Lima, Peru, the fruit of the love of her parents, Don Ricardo García and Doña Gloria Quezada. A devoted sister to three siblings whom she loved dearly, Carmen was the pillar of a home built on faith, service, and unconditional dedication. During her marriage to Víctor, God blessed her with the gift of her three beloved daughters: Sally, Melissa, and Betsy. She gave everything for them, devoting every day to guiding, protecting, and raising them to become good women. Over time, that boundless love blossomed into absolute adoration for her six grandchildren: Matías, the eldest, followed by Rodrigo, Rihanna, Ignacio, Joseph, and little Victoria. Carmencita cared for and protected them as the best grandmother they could have ever had, leaving them a legacy of infinite sweetness that will remain forever in their hearts. Her daughters and grandchildren were her greatest pride, the engine of her life, and her greatest strength. Her vocation of selflessness knew no bounds. She always prioritized the well-being of her loved ones, selflessly looking after her mother Doña Gloria and tenderly caring for her father Don Ricardo until his final moments. In that same spirit of harmony, even after their separation, there was gratitude toward Víctor, who was present in caring for and supporting Carmen's dear mother in Peru. Full of energy, discipline, and vitality, in her youth in Peru she was a passionate volleyball player who competed on various teams, standing out for her sportsmanship and camaraderie. A hair stylist by profession, she loved pampering her loved ones, highlighting their beauty and cutting their hair with the affection that only a mother and grandmother can give. Her creativity and skill knew no limits: she was passionate about sewing, designing and crafting beautiful clothing for her daughters with her own hands. Likewise, her love could be tasted in her wonderful cooking; she loved to cook for her family, and her greatest happiness was seeing everyone gathered together at the dinner table. Camuchita was the soul of every gathering an immensely joyful, witty, funny, and playful person. She loved singing karaoke and dancing, lighting up everyone with her unforgettable enthusiasm. She possessed a pure heart that always knew how to find the good in every person, opening her home wide to anyone in need. She gave us a unique sense of humor and a bright joy that she never lost, even in the face of physical ailments, overflowing with playful quips that transformed difficult moments into warm laughter. Her warmth and sweetness were so special that she won the sincere affection of the medical staff and nurses who cared for her over the last few years. A woman of profound faith, a fervent devotee of the Blessed Virgin, and steadfast in praying the Holy Rosary, we know that Carmen has not truly left us; she has simply gone ahead of us on the path and now rests in the peace and presence of Our Lord, reunited in heaven with her beloved father Don Ricardo (who passed away 31 years ago) and her dear brother Carlos (who passed away 22 years ago). She is survived, with hearts full of her love, by her cherished mother, Doña Gloria Quezada; her two brothers; her three beloved daughters, Sally, Melissa, and Betsy; her six adored grandchildren; her sons-in-law; and an entire family that will love and remember her eternally. Her daughters always tried to give back the immense love she bestowed upon them, knowing it was an impossible task, as Carmencita was simply the best mother in the world. Today, her daughters, grandchildren, and entire family feel a deep void from her departure, but they embrace prayer, trusting that God will give them the strength to bear this sorrow. Although her physical presence is no longer with them, her love, her teachings, and her light will forever guide their lives. Dear Camuchita, you will live forever in our hearts and in our prayers.
