Adele Brydges

Adele F. (Sanuth) Brydges, 93 passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29th 2026 at St Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Laconia, NH Adele was born on November 2nd 1932 in Boston, the second youngest of 12 children. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Apoline (Minkauskas) Sanuth, both emigre’s from Lithuania. Adele was raised in Hyde Park and attended the Catholic parochial Most Precious Blood School until the 10th grade. In 1951, she married the love of her life, William C. Brydges of Charlestown at the Otis Air Force Base in Bourne, MA. They lived in Somerville, MA where they raised their only daughter, Janet and then moved to Chelmsford, MA in 1966 for 22 years. They then resided in Nashua, NH in 1988 until moving in with her daughter in 2016 after the passing of her husband. Adele worked as a Solderer for RCA and then until her retirement worked for many years in Research and Development at Honeywell in Lexington, MA. Adele loved the church and traveling, she would go on many retreats with her husband, Bill, one of which was to Jerusalem (twice) and did a summer of women’s missionary work through the church in Kentucky and Ohio. Adele had an eye for fashion and loved to go shopping. She was extraordinarily generous with gift giving especially at Christmas and Birthdays for her daughter and her four grandchildren. She loved spending time with family which was her top priority and loved taking long car rides with her husband with no destination in mind. Adele took up crocheting and ceramics, loved going camping, going out to eat, reading scripture, listening to music and playing video games. Adele was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, William C. Brydges Adele was also the sister of the late John Sanuth, William Sanuth, Peter Sanuth, Anthony Sanuth, Anne Constantino, Mary Newman, Catherine Sanuth, Margaret Lowrence, Elizabeth Green and Cecelia Doody. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Janet (Brydges) Fielding and husband Roy of New Hampton, NH. Her sister, Antionette Turcotte of Waltham. Four grandchildren, Stephen Martin of Kansas, Jessica Mosher of Maine, Rebecca Stefanczak of New Hampshire, Matthew Fielding of California. Eight great grandchildren, John, Joshua, Jared, Brianna, Jenna, Jewel, Joshua and Madyson. Four great great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 10th from 10:30am – 11:30am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E Dunstable Rd, Nashua, NH 03062 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, June 11th at 1:30pm in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Buzzards Bay, MA. All may meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Adele’s loving memory to Lakes Region VNA Hospice Care, 186 Waukewan St. Meredith, NH 03253.
