Theresa Gendron

August 15, 1927 - December 20, 2020

Theresa Gendron  93 died Sunday Dec 20 2020 at the Holy Cross Health Center Manchester N.H. following a brief illness. She was born August 15, 1927 in Nashua, N.H. daughter of the late Albert and Lydia (Morin) Dube. She was predeceased by her husband Rene Gendron as well as by a sister, Gertrude Dube Asselin, a brother in law, Roger Asselin and a brother in law, George Lavoie. Rene and Theresa were married 64 years before his passing.. They met at J F McEwan where they both worked.Theresa also worked at R.D.F. Hudson. She was a longtime member of the YWCA in Nashua. She enjoyed swimming which led her to volunteer for many years to assist children with disabilities in helping them to learn to swim. She loved sewing, crafts and her garden. She and Rene enjoyed dancing and trips to Canada. Survivors include  her sister, Alice (Dube) Lavoie, her brother Dr. Leo Dube and wife Pricilla, sister Claire Bouffard and husband Paul Bouffard, brother Paul Dube and wife Marcy. Her three special God children Paul Dube, Micheal Bouffard, and Elaine Lavallee, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and one aunt, Juliette  Dancause of Canada. Due to health concerns with COVID-19, a private burial was held in St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date.
