Richard Orleans

October 7, 1962 - August 25, 2014

Richard (Rick) W. Orleans 51 died unexpectedly on August 25th 2014 in Sulpher Springs,TX. He was born October 7, 1962, the beloved son of Richard M. and Mary C. (Rocha) Orleans of Nashua, NH. He is survived by his son Christopher Orleans of Nashua, NH, his sister Deborah Foster and her husband Spencer of Nashua, NH, James Orleans of Hudson, NH, Lori Sliz, Patricia Osterman and her husband Mark of Nashua, NH and his life long partner Renee Cambray. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews and cousins. Rick was employed at Walmart in Sulphur Springs, Texas in the sporting good department, before moving to Texas he owned and operated Orleans and Son Plumbing & Heating. Rick played youth sports in the city. He also enjoyed coaching his son as well as others in youth sports. He umpired and coached for Nashua South baseball. He also coached for several years for Nashua East Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth baseball, Nashua Elks Crusaders and city basketball. Rick loved to spend time hunting with his dad and uncles as well as fishing with his son and brother. He also enjoyed golfing, cooking on the grill and using his smoker was a favorite pass time. Rick was also a life scout of troop 251. Donations can be made to the Boys and Girls Club, 47 Grand Ave. Nashua, NH 03060. A mass celebrating his life will be held on Saturday September 6th, 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Rd. Nashua, NH.
