Rachel Colburn

November 29, 1932 - July 13, 2015

Rachel (Pelletier) Colburn, 82, of Hudson, died Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua with her loving family by her side. She was born November 29, 1932 in Nashua, NH, daughter of the late Leo and Rose (Blouin) Pelletier. Rachel was also predeceased by her husband Philip Colburn, as well as by two sisters Lorette Blevins and Gabrielle Anctil. Rachel enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading romance novels, solving crossword puzzles, gardening, and traveling. Family always came first and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter, Shyann. Her loving family includes three daughters Cynthia and Michael McClure of Nashua, Suzanne and Thomas McCoy of Brookline, NH, Phyllis Colburn of Hudson, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother Leo Pelletier and his wife Lise of Nashua, two sisters Therese Pelletier and Suzanne Pelletier both of Nashua, two brothers in law Kenneth Blevins of Rex, GA, Richard Wall of NJ, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 17th from 5pm-8pm in THE DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST., IN HUDSON. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18th at 9:30am in St. John XXIII Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library St., Hudson. All may meet at church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Nashua.
