Nikki Anne Mitchell
February 28, 1964 - February 25, 2009
Nikki Anne Mitchell, born February 28 1964, passed away on February 25, at the Hospice House in Merrimack, after courageously battling cancer. She leaves behind her beautiful daughter Emily, her sister Tricia MacKinnon, brother-in-law Dean MacKinnon, nieces Jenna and Kayla MacKinnon all from Milford. Her stepfather, Joseph Thome of WA, her maternal aunts Sue Levesque and Liz Morgan of Nashua, and many close cousins will also miss her greatly. She was predeceased by her mother, Anne Mary (Cookman) Thome. Nikki was a wonderful mother who moved to Milford 8 years ago, so her daughter could live in the same town she had grown up in. She worked at Seasonal Specialties Store in Amherst, where she found her second family in the owners and her many coworkers. Nikki enjoyed creating jewelry, beading, crocheting, and knitting. A memorial service is planned for Saturday March 7th, 10 AM to 12 PM, at Hampshire Hills in Milford on Emerson Road. Internment will be a private one for close family only.
