Maryann (Bishop) Broussard

April 22, 1949 - December 18, 2010

Maryann (Bishop) Broussard, 61, of Litchfield, NH went on to meet the Lord on December 18, 2010. She was born April 22, 1949 in Somerville, MA and was the daughter of Wilfred and the late Mary (Keefe) Bishop. She grew up in Arlington, MA where she met the love of her life, Stephen A. Broussard. They were high school sweethearts who shared 43 years of marriage. She moved to Litchfield, NH in 1977 where she made a permanent home with her family. She was skilled at sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She was an avid Sunday crossword puzzler and played a mean game of Scrabble. She enjoyed spending summers with her family and friends at her home on the lake. Besides her loving husband Steve, Maryann is survived by two sons, Kevin Broussard and his wife Sandra and David Broussard both of Manchester, NH; a daughter, Stephanie Broussard of Litchfield, NH; Her Father, Bill Bishop of Hudson, NH; two brothers, Richard Bishop of Wilmot, NH and Michael Bishop of Daytona Beach, FL; a sister, Cathy Battye of Hudson, NH; six grandchildren, Zachary, Adam and Kayla Littlefield of Litchfield, NH and Kyle, Jarrod and Ava Broussard of Manchester, NH; a niece and three nephews. She will also be missed by her faithful dog Susie, long-time neighbors and friends, and extended family at her place of employment, New England Small Tube, as well as the wonderful caring doctors and nurses at Parkland Medical Center for Oncology and Hematology. Visiting Hours will be held on Tues. Dec. 21st from 4-7pm at the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST., HUDSON. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wed. Dec. 22nd at 10am in Blessed John the XXIII Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, Hudson. Burial will take place at a future time.
