Lucienne Soucy

Lucienne (Jean) Soucy, 103, of Nashua, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Hunt Community surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 12, 1913 in Nashua, daughter of the late Pierre and Marie (Carrigan) Jean. Lucienne was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Soucy, in 2004. She was also predeceased by one brother and three sisters. Lucienne was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her grandkids. She was an avid card player and enjoyed gardening and caring for her dogs. Lucienne made some very special friends while living at the Hunt Community, especially Nurse Kay, whom she was so fond of. Lucienne’s loving family includes a son, Donald Soucy and his wife Dolores of Punta Gorda, FL, a daughter, Claire Raymond of Nashua, five grandchildren, Beth Roberts and her husband Thomas of Hudson, Michele Boda and her husband Robert of Hudson, DJ Soucy and his partner Damien Paladino of St. Pete, FL, Sandy Inzer and her husband Wit of Bennington, NH, Tom Raymond of Nashua, six great grandchildren, D. Matthew Aubin, Jacob Aubin, Seth Aubin, Cody Roberts, Zachary Roberts, Evan Roberts and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, September 15th in St. John XXIII Parish at Infant Jesus Church, 121 Allds St. in Nashua. All may meet at church. Burial will be held in St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lucienne’s loving memory to the Hunt Community Scholarship Fund, 10 Allds St., Nashua, NH, 03060.
