Jeanne (Donovan) Sayce of Nashua, NH, formerly of Watertown, MA, gracefully left this life on Tuesday, March 26th, surrounded by her family and friends. She was the loving and devoted wife of Edward (Ted) Sayce of nearly 38 years. She was predeceased by her beloved brother, Brian Donovan, in 1995 and more recently by her father, Dr. Francis Donovan, in 2012. Jeanne was born in Boston, MA, to Dr. Francis Donovan and Marion (Conran) Donovan in 1955, and raised in Watertown, MA alongside her six younger brothers and sisters. While summering in Wolfeboro, NH, Jeanne met her husband, Ted and they were married on June 7th, 1975 in St. Cecelia’s Church in that same town. She attended Mount St. Joseph’s Academy in Boston, MA and Boston College. She was co-owner and business manager of Sayco Tree and Landscape for the past 28 years. Along with her husband, Jeanne is survived by her three children, Erin Apar, Tad Sayce, and Heather Lewko, her mother, Marion Donovan, sisters Judy and Dari and her brothers, Frank, Kenny and David. Her granddaughters, Lauren Apar and Lilian Lewko, absolutely adored their Neanie. Jeanne is also survived by 16 loving nieces and nephews. Jeanne devoted her life to those she loved. She had the gift of knowing how to give you what you needed at that moment. She appreciated the beauty in the simple things. She felt most fulfilled when gathered with her family and friends. Jeanne taught everyone around her how to live with dignity and strength, elegance, warmth and compassion. She knew the importance of living every minute of every day to the fullest, and will live on forever in our hearts. Visiting Hours will be held in THE DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. IN HUDSON, NH on Monday, April 1st, 2013, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Rd in Nashua, NH on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013 at 11:00am. All are welcome and may please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, New Hampshire Chapter P.O. Box 207, Newbury, NH 03255.
