April 19, 1925 - September 6, 2016
Genevieve “Jean” Clark, 91, of Nashua died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at her daughters residence in Nashua. She was born April 19, 1925 in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late Anthony and Gladys (Biala) Golas. She was also predeceased by her husband, Charles “Chippy” Clark, Sr., a son, David Clark, as well as several brothers and sisters. In her later years, Jean enjoyed taking car rides with her husband. She was a loving mother and homemaker who was proud of her Lowell roots. She raised her three children to believe in God and to treat everyone with kindness and respect. She impressed upon us at an early age to treat other people the way we would want to be treated. We had the security of believing at an early age that putting faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ would lead to eternal salvation of our souls. Our mother loved us very much and always put our needs above her own. Our mother was the rock of our family. We always knew we were loved and knew our well-being was her main priority. We are blessed to have the most loving mother ever. Her loving family includes a daughter, with whom she resided and received care from for the past 4 years, Brenda M. Clark of Nashua, two sons, Charles Clark, Jr. of Merrimack, and Alan M. Clark of Nashua, two nephews, James Salem and Daniel Salem both of Lawrence, MA, a sister in law, Anita Taylor of Utah. A private graveside service was held in St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson. In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations in Jean’s loving memory to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064.
