Emma Ferguson (MacMillan) Plummer, age 87 of Hudson, NH, loving wife and mother, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011, after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Robert Plummer, with whom she celebrated over 61 years of marriage; a daughter, Susan Mastyl, of Harborton, VA; and a son, Christopher Plummer, of Cave Creek, AZ. Emma was born in Chelsea, MA, grew up in Melrose, MA, and moved to Nashua, NH, in 1958. She is the daughter of the late Douglas and Mary (Smith) MacMillan, and was also predeceased by her sisters, Jean MacLean and Martha Martin. Her career as a secretary, bookkeeper, and controller included Green Ridge Restaurant, Nashua Brass/Unicast, and Hudson Paving. She enjoyed gardening, travel, cooking, and reading. A service of remembrance and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday December 14th from 10am - 12pm at the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST., HUDSON, NH. A prayer service will be led by Chaplain Lynne Grillo of St. Joseph's Hospital beginning at 11:30am.
