Dorothy E. Quigley, 90, of Windham, NH died Tuesday August 26th, 2014 at Windham Terrace, in Windham, NH. Dorothy was born on September 6th, 1923 in Nashua, NH daughter of the late James and Elsie (Pelkey) Quigley and was also predeceased by three siblings, Edward, James and Jane Quigley. Dorothy served her country honorably in the Army as a nurse (2nd Lt.) during WWII and went on to work at many medical facilities throughout her career until her retirement from Memorial Hospital in Nashua in 1985. Survivors include two brothers John P. Quigley and wife Jean of Hudson, NH and William Quigley and wife Carol of Windham, NH; a sister Lucile Burtrand of Nashua, NH; a great friend Rita Griffin of Londonderry, NH and many nieces and nephews. Burial took place on Thursday August 28th, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Hudson.
