Robert Marcel Corriveau

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Marcel “Marc” Corriveau, age 80, on December 5, 2023, in the embrace of his loving family. Robert, fondly known as “Bob” to some and “Marc” to most, was a dedicated husband, a loving father and a man whose actions spoke volumes of his love. Born on May 4, 1943, in Biddeford, Maine to the parents of the late Raoul and Aldea Corriveau. He graduated from St. Louis High School in the Class of 1961. Marc served in the Navy from 1961-1965 where he was part of the squadron in Meridian, Mississippi, involved in the search for civil rights workers in the swamps (1964). After his military service, Marc pursued an education in drafting, earning certification through Mass Trade in Boston MA and furthering his studies at Northeastern University. His successful drafting career spanned several decades. Shortly after retirement, Marc and Jeanne spent their winters enjoying the beautiful Floridian weather. While there, Marc cherished playing golf with his “Maine Group” and the “New Hampshire Group”. Back in Nashua he was a valued member of the Ponemah Senior Golf League and enjoyed dining out regularly with Jeanne. Marc’s life was marked by his love for Jeanne (Nadeau) Corriveau. He was by her side as a best friend and spouse for 56 years and father to their three sons. He was a man of few words but his devotion to his family was unwavering. He leaves behind his beloved wife and three sons: Kenneth and wife Pamela with their sons Joshua and Jacob, Keith and wife Ellen with their children Ainsley and Logan, Kevin and his wife Lynne with their children Trevor and Katelyn. He is survived by his brother Leo and wife MaryAnn, brother-in-law Bob Rochefort and sister-in-law Rachel Montpas. Marc was predeceased by his sister Claudette Rochefort. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 18th at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road in Nashua. A private burial will be held at St. Josephs Cemetery in Biddeford, ME.
