Paul Collins

Paul M. Collins, 68, of Nashua, NH passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 8, 2023 in Nashua. He was born December 19, 1954 in Boston, MA son of John and Doris (Gallo) Collins. Paul grew up in Dedham, MA and later attended the Mass School of Art in Boston for photography. He started his career working in Consumer Electronics, with Choquette & Company, in sales and progressed to the Director of Sales. After 15 years there he went on to work for Olympus, Pentax and Canon and won many, many awards and trips through his strong work ethics. When Paul entered a room, he always had a big smile on his face and lit up the room. He enjoyed helping his step-daughter in-law with volunteering at “End 68 Hours of Hunger” in Nashua. This organization helps to feed underprivileged school aged children. His other passions in life were photography, astronomy and gardening. He also loved going to diners. But most of all, he LOVED his little doggie boy, Cosmo George Collins, a 13y.o. Labradoodle. He loved to take him to Salisbury Beach and walk in the waves with him. Cosmo would bark for his treats after dinner and Paul would oblige him with treat after treat, until the dental chew. He would tell him last treat, and Cosmo understood. They had a private language between the two of them. Paul’s loving family includes his longtime partner of 33 years; Linda Iwicki, his brother; Joseph M. Collins, Medfield, MA, his step children whom he loved as his own; Rachel (Iwicki) Cook and her husband Adam of Dunbarton, NH, Christopher Iwicki and his wife Jill of Nashua, NH, his step grandchildren whom he adored; Nora Rae Cook, Oran Harrison Cook, Ella Rose Iwicki, and Lola May Iwicki. Following cremation, a time of visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16th from 9:00am - 11:00am, with a Service of Remembrance at 11:00am in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Homes, 50 Ferry St. in Hudson, NH. Burial will be private.
