Mario Plante

Mario Plante, 69, of Hudson, NH passed away on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 in the comfort of his home. Mario was born in St. Ephrem, Quebec, Canada, on May 24th, 1952, and was the son of the late Leo and Anna (Roy) Plante. He is the loving husband of Denyse (Blais) Plante, with whom he recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Mario, along with his wife, were the founders of a construction business, Save-On-Wall Company, and a real estate development business, MDP Development. He was a hard worker and was grateful for all the employees, colleagues, and friendships he made throughout the years. He valued and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mario loved snowmobiling, four-wheeling, playing cards, and spoiling his puppies. In addition to his loving wife, Mario is survived by his five children, his son Marco Plante and wife Cindy (Fauteux), his daughter Jennie Arnold and husband Roger, his daughter Christine St. Laurent and husband Keith, his daughter Nathalie Plante, and his son Jeano Plante; six grandchildren Devin Plante and wife Abby (Goldberg), Jovanna Plante and fiancé Cameron Beaulieu, Travis Arnold and fiancé Jenna Breault, Kamren Arnold, Amelia St. Laurent, and Kason St. Laurent. Mario’s loving siblings include the late Luc Plante and wife Annette (Nadeau), the late Marc Plante and wife Helene (Lessard), the late Renald Plante and wife Mariette (Turcotte), the late Huguette Plante and husband Benoit Faucher, Sylvie Plante and late partner Clermont Beaudoin, Jacqueline Plante and partner Jean-Marie Plante, Pierre Plante and wife Nicole (Lessard), the late Andre Plante and wife Helene (Beaudoin), Jean Plante and wife Louise (Lessard), Claude Plante and wife Helene (Nadeau), Lise Pelletier and husband Leo, the late Rene Plante and wife Francine (Plante), Helene Duquette and late husband Marc, Nicole Guerrette and late husband Ed, and Guylaine Plante and husband Roger Lessard, in addition to many nieces and nephews. Per Mario’s wishes, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held in May.
