Kathleen Pelletier

Kathleen (Walsh) Pelletier, 83, of Hudson, NH, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Peter Walsh and Kate (Joyce) Walsh. Kathy was born May 11, 1940 in PouleyWirrin, LetterMore, CO. Galway, Ireland and became an American Citizen 1976. At age 17, Kathy immigrated from Ireland to Boston MA. She was an avid Boston Sports Fan who attended Boston Celtics and New England Patriots Games and was fortunate to have attended Tom Brady’s 40th Birthday pre-season summer practice at Gillette Stadium. Kathy loved attending her granddaughter’s events and was their biggest cheerleader. She enjoyed outdoors and adventures: gardening, hiking, playing cards, shopping & snowshoeing, and boating at Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. She liked to play pranks, enjoyed family gatherings with big smile. Kathy volunteered at Bishop Guertin High School fundraisers and was Union Local President at Owens Brockway Nashua, NH. Kathy loved to laugh and make people happy and tell stories with her friends and family. She will fondly be remembered as the neighborhood Grandmother for after school snacks, lemonade stand and popsicles. Kathy’s loving family includes her devoted husband of 58 years Victor Pelletier of Hudson, a daughter; Maureen O’Malley & Husband; John O’Malley of Charlton Mass., a son; Shawn Pelletier, MD & Wife Melissa Pelletier of Charlottesville Virginia, 5 granddaughters: Kelsey Pelletier, Karli Pelletier, Kaylyn Pelletier, Kendra O’Malley and Morgan O’Malley, a sister; Sarah Kelly of Casla, CO Galway Ireland, a sister in law; Rita Perron of Pelham NH, dear friend Barbara Riess (like a daughter) of Longwood Florida, a brother in law Francis Conroy of Lantana, Florida, sister in law Peggy Walsh, of PouleyWirrin, LetterMore Co Galway Ireland, as well as several dear nieces and nephews in the US and Ireland. Kathy was predeceased by two sisters and a brother; Mary McDonagh, Agnes Conroy and Padraig Walsh. When it came to saying good bye, she’d give the biggest hugs and a kiss on the cheek – “Bye-Bye for now…until we meet again” Special Thanks to: Home Health & Hospice Care of Amherst especially, Erika a very Special Angel, Compassionate Caregiver.
