Geralda St. Peter

Geralda St. Peter, 82, of Bedford, NH, died Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, with her heartbroken family by her side. The youngest of 17, she was born February 28, 1939 to the late Joseph and Eva (Chasse) Pelletier in Ste Anne de Madewaska, New Brunswick, Canada. Geralda was predeceased by her husband Donald St. Peter, Jr., and a daughter Sandra Carey. She was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters including Yvette Soucy, Lucille Gagnon, Alice Cyr, Lilliane Pelletier and Gertrude Schena. Geralda’s family moved to Nashua when she was a teenager and that is where she met Donald, her loving husband of 39 years until his passing in 1997. Together, Geralda and Donald raised their family and once the kids were grown, she went to work for the Nashua School District in several school cafeterias. She was employed at the Pennichuck Middle School until her retirement. Above all things, Geralda loved her family. She enjoyed knitting scarves, mittens, and pichus (slippers), as well as solving puzzles and playing games. She always looked forward to her occasional trip to Foxwoods with her sisters, Bea & Gert. She never won much but she always had a great time. Family get togethers gave her great joy, and she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We already miss you Mum, until we meet again… Geralda’s loving family includes her two daughters, a son, and their families; Patricia Lemay and her husband Gerard, Pamela Bennett and her husband Bryan, Michael St. Peter and his wife MaryJane, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two sisters; Adrienne LePage and Bibianne Pelletier and many nieces & nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 29 from 5pm-7pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., in Hudson. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, September 30th at 10am in the funeral home. Guests are asked to arrive at 9:30am. Burial will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson. All guests are asked to please wear a face mask or facial covering while attending any indoor portion of the services. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made in Geralda’s loving memory to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
