David P. Kobisky, Jr.

David P. Kobisky, Jr., 45, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, following a lengthy illness. Born on June 21, 1979, in Boston, MA, David spent his life dedicated to his work, passions, and, above all, his family. David was the beloved son of David Patrick Kobisky, Sr., and Michele (Bass) Kobisky of Nashua. He is survived by his devoted brother Erik Kobisky and Erik’s wife Erinn of Nashua, as well as his cherished nieces Whitney and goddaughter Emmerson, who brought him endless joy. David’s constant companion and beloved dog, Harley, was always by his side. He is also survived by many loving aunts and uncles: Maureen Franklin of Nashua; Edward Kobisky Jr. and wife Wendy of Derry; Harold Kobisky of Nashua; Jeanine Allan and husband Scott of Nashua; and Lisa Guarascio and husband George of Seaford, NY. His close-knit family extended to many cousins, including Dan Kobisky and wife Naysha of Derry, Jon Kobisky of Nashville, TN, Haylee Brick and husband Doug of Seaford, NY, Jade Matassa and husband James of Wantagh, NY, and Kristina Vachon of Nashua. David was employed by Concrete Systems for over 25 years. His strong work ethic and loyalty were hallmarks of his career, which he continued until health challenges led him to early retirement. A man of many interests, David was a passionate NASCAR fan, always rooting for the No. 48 team of Jimmie Johnson. He loved cooking, gardening, and playing board games. David was an avid supporter of the Boston Red Sox and Celtics, and a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. He found great happiness in trips to the beach—both in New Hampshire and Florida—and visits to Long Island, New York. David’s life was filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering love for his family. Whether sharing a meal, watching a game, or simply spending time with those he loved most, David’s presence was a gift that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Carmen Ward, David’s special caregiver, for her kindness and compassionate support during his illness. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th from 4pm - 6pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street in Hudson. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, May 30th in the funeral home at 9am. Guests are asked to start arriving at 8:30am. Burial will be held in St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua. A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local animal shelter or cancer research organization in David’s memory. Forever in our hearts—David’s legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter will live on.
