Chantal Tardif

Chantal Micheline (Rodrigue) Tardif, 71, of Litchfield, NH, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 16, 1951 in Saint-Victor de Beauce Canada, daughter of the late Florian and Alice (Benard) Rodrigue. Chantal was a long time resident of Litchfield, NH. She married Yvan Tardif in 1973 and together raised two children. She was predeceased by her son Michael Yves Tardif in 2016 and is survived by her daughter Johanne Tardif and Johanne’s significant other, Richard Marique. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kayla Victoria Tardif Riendeau and her partner John Torres, Trever Jon Tardif Riendeau, Gabriella Lynn Tardif Riendeau, Samantha Mallet, Jessica Waddell, and Deavon Moore, as well as by a great grandson who is due to be born in May, Kamden Michael Tardif Torres. Chantal is also survived by her brother and his partner, Andre and Charlotte Rodrigue, brother and sister-in-law Laval and Slyvie Rodrigue, brother and sister-in-law Simone and Josee Rodrigue, sister and brother in law Liette and Andre Toulouse, sister and brother in law Jeanne and Louis Michaud, sister in law France Tardif, sister in law Carmen Tardif, brother in law Roger Bureau, brother in law Yvan Tardif, sister and brother in law Lucielle and Herman Drouin, sister and brother in law Ghyslaine and Giles Pomerleau, brother and sister in law Slyvain and Linda Tardif, brother in law Armand Tardif, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Chantal was predeceased by numerous family members, including; her sister in law Suzanne and her husband Donat Tardif, her brother and sister-in-law Bernard and Luce Rodrigue, sister and brother-in-law Florette and Marc Cantin, sister and brother-in-law Murielle and Renald Leclerc, brother and sister-in-law Serge and Ghyslaine Rodrigue, sister France Rodrigue, Predeceased by brother and sister in law Clermont and Nancy Tardif, sister and brother in law Isabelle and Paul-Henry Turcotte, brother and sister Laurent and Monique Tardif, brother in law Yves, brother in law Paul Tardif, sister in law Mariette Bureau, brother in law and sister in law Gerard and Carole Tardif, , sister in law Martine Tardif. Chantal enjoyed baking, cooking, playing bejeweled on Facebook, solving puzzles, and hanging out at camp with her husband, daughter, and grandchildren. She loved playing card games and gardening. Her greatest joy came when spending time with her grandchildren and she will be holding her great grandson Kamden until he is born. Following cremation, a time of visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 11:00am until 1:30pm with a Service of Remembrance at 1:30pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street in Hudson. A Private Burial will take place in ST. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson at a later date.
