Callie Klimas

Callie Klimas, 40, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Nashua, New Hampshire, just one day shy of her 41st birthday. Born in Nashua, Callie was a vibrant, unforgettable soul whose presence could light up any room. She was effortlessly hilarious, fiercely loyal, and deeply compassionate—a true caregiver in every sense of the word. Callie dedicated her professional life to helping others as a Registered Nurse at the Surgical Center of New Hampshire in Derry. Her patients and coworkers knew her not only for her skill and dedication, but for the warmth, humor, and comfort she brought to every interaction. She built a strong foundation for her career through her education, earning a Bachelor of Arts from Keene State College, a Registered Nursing degree from Regis College. Her passion for caring extended beyond her community, as she also volunteered her nursing skills in the Philippines, providing care to those in need. She is lovingly survived by her parents, Kenneth and Brenda Rodgers Klimas; her sister and brother-in-law, Holly and Tim Wight, along with their children, Heidi, Darla, Katie, Nicholas, and Lucas; her sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and Brooks Sheridan; her grandparents, Kenneth and Patricia Rodgers; many aunts uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Marty—her loyal companion and “dog son.” Callie lived life fully and unapologetically. She found joy in the simple and the silly—from a good “hurkle-durkle” morning to pizza nights, beach days, singing at the top of her lungs, and dancing like no one was watching. She was endlessly creative, always crafting and making art, and loved riding her motorcycle alongside her father to Laconia Bike Week. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, and rescuing her beloved dog, Marty, was one of the greatest joys of her life—he truly was her favorite thing. Above all, she treasured time spent with her close-knit circle of friends and family. She was known for her stubborn streak, her fierce love, and her ability to show up for others in ways that truly mattered. To many, Callie was more than a friend—she was a constant, a safe place, and even a reverend, guiding and supporting those she loved through life’s biggest moments. True to Callie’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Instead, her life will be honored with a celebration—just the way she wanted it. Details for a celebration of life will be shared in the coming weeks. In true Callie fashion, we won’t say goodbye—have a beer, play the music a little louder, and carry her laughter with us wherever we go.
