Brian McClelland

Brian J. McClelland, age 55, a resident of Hudson, NH passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was the amazing husband of Robyn McClelland and dedicated dad to his three children, Eddie, Kaleigh and Tatum. Brian was born on June 28, 1967, and was the son of the late Edward McClelland and Ethel (Macdonald) McClelland of Quincy, MA. Brian spent his childhood in Quincy, MA where he grew up with his brothers, Scott and Eric as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends. Brian & Robyn met at the Purple Shamrock in Boston in 1995 and have been writing chapters in their love story ever since. They instantly became a family and moved all around the country living in MA, AZ, ME, and finally settled in NH. Brian worked in logistics/transportation during the course of his life at many companies across the country as an Operations Director including Associated Grocers of Maine, Pine State Trading Company, Sysco Foods and many more. His co-workers respected him, and his work ethic was unparalleled. Brian was a warrior who fought Glioblastoma over the past 21 months never giving up, never complaining, and always stayed so positive, even when things started to go downhill. He took his diagnosis as an opportunity to refocus his life and prioritize the people and things that truly mattered. He taught us how to face fear…and he lived, he taught us resilience with incredible grace…and he lived, he taught us how to laugh in the middle of a storm…and he lived, he taught us what unconditional love feels like to receive….and he lived. Brian loved his New England Patriot’s, recently having the opportunity to meet Mr. Robert Kraft and get a private tour of the stadium. He loved to travel with Robyn, and they were recently given the opportunity to travel to Ireland, his bucket list trip. He loved vacations in such places as Aruba, the Bahamas, Mexico, Florida and California with his family and friends. His love of classic cars was something that never changed, and he was gifted with one of his favorites this summer, a 1975 Chevy Corvette, which he loved to take rides in! Brian is survived by his wife, Robyn (Turcotte) McClelland. His loving children, Edwin Duguie (and wife Hannah) of Augusta, ME, his daughter, Kaleigh Jones (and husband John) of Nashville, NC and his daughter, Tatum McClelland of Hudson, NH. He also leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren, Rowan, Paislee and Beckett. He leaves behind his mother Ethel (Macdonald) McClelland and the late Edward McClelland of Quincy, MA, brothers Eric and Scott McClelland of Quincy, MA as well as many aunts/uncles, cousins, and friends from all over the world. Brian was truly a gift to us all and will be forever missed Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 1st from 4pm - 7pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., in Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 2nd at 10am in St. Kathryn Church, 4 Dracut Road, in Hudson. All may please meet at church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be made in Brian’s loving memory to the Believe in BMAC Foundation at www.believeinbmac.org
