Arnold Beauregard

Arnold Henry “Arnie” Beauregard, 77, of Hudson, N.H., died Sept. 17, 2020, after living with the challenges of COPD for many years and a brief battle with cancer. Arnie was born Sept. 8, 1943, in Gardner, Mass., the son of Norman and Jeannette (Manseau) Beauregard. He was a longtime resident of Hudson, N.H., and worked for many years at Digital Equipment Corp., which became DEC, Compaq and, at the time of his retirement as a program manager in the early 2000s, Hewlett-Packard. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1966, earning an honorable discharge, and was a life member of the American Legion. An active member of Hudson Post 48, he formerly served on the executive board and was acting adjutant at the time of his death. He considered the post his second home, and his fellow members his second family. In his leisure time he enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, as well as brothers David Beauregard, Timothy Beauregard and Allen Beauregard. Family members include four children and their partners, Todd and Nicola (Milliken) Beauregard, of Litchfield, N.H.; Tammy (Beauregard) and Benjamin Feldott, of East Falmouth, Mass.; Mark Beauregard and Michael Lepow, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Nina Locwin, of Barrington, N.H.; grandchildren Adele (and Tom) Flynn, Timothy (and Ruby) Beauregard, Elise Beauregard, Brittany Feldott, Brianna Feldott, Brooke Feldott, Cody Feldott, William Lepow-Beauregard and Myles Locwin; great-grandson James Douglas Beauregard; siblings Norman (and Dede) Beauregard, of Gardner, Mass.; Nancy (Beauregard) Cormier (husband Roger deceased), of Florida; Susan (Beauregard) and Joe Hakkinen, of Texas; Jeannine (Beauregard), of Gardner, Mass., and Edward Miller, of Manchester, N.H.; Elaine (Beauregard) and Edward Jandris, of Gardner, Mass.; Eugene (and Anne) Beauregard, of Massachusetts; Daniel (and Annette) Beauregard, of Westminster, Mass.; Raymond (and Amy) Beauregard, of Gardner, Mass. He also leaves his ex-wife, the mother of his four children, Joanne Leach, of Falmouth, MA, also sisters-in-law Virginia Barnes Beauregard of Maine and Kelly Beauregard of Florida. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, September 28th at 12:00pm noon in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, in Boscawen, NH. All guests are welcome to meet at the cemetery and are asked to please meet at the cemetery and to please adhere to social distancing as well as wear a facemark or facial covering. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made in Arnie’s loving memory to the American Legion Children in Youth Program, American Legion Post 48, P.O. Box 157, Hudson NH, 03051. Following the cemetery service, there will be a celebration of life in the American Legion, Hudson Post 48, located at 37 Central St., in Hudson, NH. All are welcome.
