Adrian Emile Crete

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adrian Emile Crete, a loving father, Pepere, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on August 29, 1932, in Saint-Malo, Quebec, Canada, Adrian was the cherished son of Francis and Blanche Crete. He was welcomed into a large and loving family with seven brothers—Gilles, Gauthier, Edgar, Leandre, Paul, Roger, and Robert—and three sisters—Hermance, Cecile, and Yolanda. On March 4, 1957, Adrian married the love of his life, Theresa Biron, with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage before her passing in 2005. Together, they built a beautiful family and raised six children: Dan, Ron, Sue, Bob, Rick, and David, as well as their spouses, Laurie Crete, Paula Crete, Al Semple, Sheila Crete, Leslie Crete, and Drew Crete. Adrian’s legacy lives on through his many grandchildren—Erin Crete, Elena Crete, Victoria Neault, Tiffany Sousa, Alisha Browne, Sarah Finlay, Jessica Crete, Brian Crete, Melanie Crete, and Devon Crete—as well as his great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. Adrian was a man of many talents and a dedicated worker. Throughout his life, he wore many hats, working for the drywall union, as a skilled carpenter, and as the proud owner of Creative Landscaping. No matter the job, Adrian brought integrity, determination, and pride to his work. Outside of his profession, Adrian cherished time with his family and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He could often be found playing cards, tossing horseshoes, or dominating a game of cornhole. Known for his quick wit and love of a good party, Adrian never turned down a drink or an opportunity to share a laugh with those he loved. Adrian’s faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in all he did and serving as a source of strength and comfort. Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted family man whose love, humor, and resilience touched the lives of all who knew him. Adrian’s hard work, kind heart, and unforgettable sense of humor will remain in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest peacefully, Adrian, reunited at last with Theresa, the love of your life. Services: A time of visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Service of Remembrance from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m., in the Dumont - Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson, New Hampshire. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Hudson, New Hampshire. A reception will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Luk’s in Hudson, New Hampshire. All are welcome to join the reception, as Adrian would want people to toast a good drink in his honor.
