Name: Donald Botti Date: May 13th, 1929 - July 23rd, 2010 Obituary: Donald Botti, 81 of Hudson, NH died Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Southern NH Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born May 13, 1929 in Lowell, son of the late Richard and Charlotte (McVey) Botti. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Lois “Pat” (Dodge) Botti and later by his daughter, Susan Redmond. Donald was the husband of Rose (Fournier) Lyon of Hudson. He lived the majority of his years in Dracut, MA and Salem, NH before moving to Hudson in 2000. He was a member of the IBEW Local Union 103 as well as a lifetime member of the Salem –Derry Elks Lodge 2226. Donald enjoyed summering on Lake Winnisquam where he loved boating and spending time at his cottage. Besides his loving wife Rose, survivors include one son and a daughter in law; Steven and Lisa Botti of Dracut. A son in law; Lenny Redmond of Sandown, NH. Three grandchildren; Sara Redmond of Sandown, Christina Botti and Haley Botti both of Dracut. Four Stepdaughters and two step sons in law; Donna and Edward Lessard of Hudson, NH, Laurie Lyon of Montpelier, VT, Suzanne Lyon of Wakefield, NH, Christine and John Powers of Kensington, NH. Three sisters; Ann, Maureen, and Rita. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday July 27th from 10am until noon in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST (Rte 111) IN HUDSON, NH. A Prayer Service will take place at noon in the funeral home. Burial will be held in Richardson Cemetery in Dracut, MA.
