Name: Diane (Mechlinski) Schmitt Date: November 11th, 1942 - July 12th, 2010 Obituary: Diane Emily (Mechlinski) Schmitt, 67 of Hudson died unexpectedly on Monday July 12, 2010 at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua. She was born November 11, 1942 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late Walter and Rose (Wachowiak) Mechlinski. Diane was the wife of Joseph Schmitt of Hudson. She was employed with Home Health & Hospice Care for the past 15 years and was an active supporter of the Merrimack Friars. Besides her loving husband survivors include twin daughters and a son in law; Karen Schmitt of Hudson, Katherine and Ed Blank of Nashua. A sister; Rita Comanski of Atlanta, GA. A brother in law; William Schmitt, a sister in law; Judy Schmitt, both of West Seneca, NY. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday June 16th at 1pm in Holy Cross Cemetery in Hudson. All may meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations in Diane’s loving memory to the Merrimack Friar’s, 62 Lamson Dr., Merrimack, NH 03054.
