Name: Gerard "Jerry" Nadeau Date: September 16th, 1929 - May 1st, 2010 Obituary: Gerard “Jerry” Nadeau, 80 of Hudson died Saturday, May 01, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 16, 1929 in Nashua, son of the late Alcide and Beatrice (Pelletier) Nadeau. He was also predeceased by a daughter Suzanne Hier in 2008, a grandson Michael Hier in 1996, and a sister, Theresa Bellefueille. Jerry was the husband of Marguerite (Desjardins) Nadeau of Hudson, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1946 - 1949. Jerry was employed with Gregg & Son’s and later Triangle Pacific, retiring in 1991 after 43 years of dedicated employment. He enjoyed fishing and antique cars but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Besides his loving wife survivors include four sons and four daughters in law; Denis and Susan Nadeau of Hudson, Mark and Kathryn Nadeau of Bedford, NH, David and Susan Nadeau of Marco Island, FL, William and Christina Nadeau of Hudson. One daughter and a son in law; Patricia and Donald Huot of Kingston, NH. A son in law; George Hier of Hudson. Ten Grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be held on Tues. May 4th from 5-8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERY ST., IN HUDSON. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wed. May 5th at 10am in Blessed John XXIII Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library St. in Hudson. All May Meet At Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.
