Beatrice I. (Charron) Sirois, 92, of Laurel Place in Hudson, NH died on Thurs. Feb. 4, 2010 at the Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson after a short illness.
Mrs. Sirois was born on Nov. 15, 1917 in Nashua, NH daughter of the late Alfred and Irene (Courchaine) Charron. Beatrice was the loving wife of 53 years to Leonce A. Sirois, who passed away in 2003.
In Mrs. Sirois’ earlier years, she held a secretarial position in an optician’s office. As a devoted mother, she later utilized her master seamstress skills to work at home. When her family was grown, she returned to work in the food service departments of Rivier College, Antoine’s Catering and the Hudson School System.
Mrs. Sirois was dedicated to her children and their families. She loved baking and was most noted for never having a visitor leave empty-handed. She also enjoyed knitting and caring for her pets. She loved the home that she and her husband built themselves and the neighborhood that they lived in for so many years were they shared many special friendships.
She was a communicant of Blessed John XXIII Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson.
Mrs. Sirois is survived by a son, Raymond Sirois of Hudson; three daughters; Carol Lavoie and her husband Donald of Nashua, Linda Douville and her husband Gary of Chester, NH and Jane Matson of Paradise Valley, AZ; a sister; Loretta Figliozzi of Pleasant Valley, NY; Six grandchildren, Mark Lavoie, Lisa Web, Brett Douville, Dr. Cara Kaupp, Lea Douville and Alex Matson; twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
All services are to be private.
