Obituary:
Muriel (Santry) Bukartek, 74 of Salem and longtime resident of Nashua, died Saturday, January 09, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 2, 1935 in Lowell, MA daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Monson) Santry. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Bukartek, Sr., as well as by her brother George Santry, Jr.

Muriel was a Deputy Sheriff with Hillsborough County from 1985 to 2009.

Survivors include five sons and five daughters in law; Joe and Terri Bukartek of Conway, NH, Jim and Stephanie Bukartek of Burlington, MA, John and Leona Bukartek of Centreville, VA, Jeff and Terry Bukartek of Gilbert, AZ, Jay and Elise Bukartek of Las Vegas, NV. One daughter and a son in law; Debbie and Bob West of Salem. 14 grandchildren; Joe Bukartek, Wendy Bukartek, Bob West III, Ryan West, Jim Bukartek, Jr., Justin Bukartek, Kristyn Bukartek, Christopher Bukartek, Victoria West, Brittney Bukartek, Lauren Bukartek, Riley West, Alycia Bukartek, and Jay Bukartek, Jr. Also, one sister and a brother in law; Eleanor and Tom Potter of Nashua.

Visiting Hours will be held on Tues. Jan. 12th from 5pm-8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. IN HUDSON. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wed. Jan. 13th at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., in Nashua. All may Meet At Church. Burial will be held in the NH State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen at 2pm.
