Oct. 11, 2009 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH surrounded by her loving family. Jo-Ann was born on June 22, 1937 in Somerville, MA daughter of the late Arthur V. and Lena (Veraldi) Alessio and was the loving wife of Hubert F. Comeau, of Hollis, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Jo-Ann loved crafting and music. Traveling anywhere and everywhere was something that she enjoyed, but she particularly loved to visit Aruba, having gone there seven times. Family was the most important thing in her life and anyone that knew her knew this most of all. Besides her husband, Jo-Ann is survived by a son, Keith Comeau and his wife Judith of Townsend, MA; a daughter Tammy Levasseur and her husband Robert of Nashua, NH; a sister Ruth Lovely of Deadham, MA; four grand children, Jason Comeau of Fitchburg, MA, Danielle Johnson of Lunenburg, MA, Michael and Theresa Levasseur of Nashua; four great-grandchildren, Hannah and Lily Comeau of Fitchburg, Travis Chesbrough and Emerson Johnson of Lunenburg, MA and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting Hours will be held on Wed. Oct. 14th from 5-8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. HUDSON. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thurs. Oct. 15th at 10am in Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 East Dunstable Rd., Nashua. All To Meet At Church. Burial will be in St Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua.
