Obituary:
Raymond R. Rancourt, 84, of Hudson, NH and for the past two years of Greenbrier Terrace in Nashua, died Thursday September 17, 2009 at Greenbrier following a lengthy battle with Dementia.

He was born November 4, 1924 in Lowell, MA son of the late Theophile and Aurore (Dufresne) Rancourt. Raymond was the husband of Doris (Chenelle) Rancourt of Hudson.

Raymond was a dedicated worker and was employed for over 30 years with Lowell Shoe and later worked for Marshall Industries until his retirement in the early 90’s. He was a member of the Elk’s Lodge in Chelmsford, MA and loved to dance.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII.

Besides his loving wife Doris, survivors include two sons; Donald Rancourt and his wife Louise of Maryland, David Rancourt and his life companion Sheila Burke Bridges of Litchfield, NH. Four brothers and three sisters in law; Leo and Doris Rancourt of FL, Rene and Rachel Rancourt of Dracut, George and Claire Rancourt of Hudson, and Robert Rancourt of Pepperell. Two sisters and two brothers in law; Theresa and Gerry Desrocher of Methuen, Helene and Maurice Breault of Westford. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be on Mon. Sept. 21st from 3-7pm with a Prayer Service at 6:30pm in THE DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST., IN HUDSON. A Chapel Service will take place on Tues. Sept. 22nd in the, Mass. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon, MA .
