Name: MaryAnn Fortner Date: December 28th, 1956 - September 13th, 2009 Obituary: MaryAnn (Gendron) Fortner, 52, a current resident of Cadiz, KY and previous resident of Gilsum, NH; Pepperell, MA and Lowell MA; passed Sunday morning September 13th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY under the care of a devoted, attentive and caring staff following a short battle with Cancer. Born in Chelmsford, MA, December 29, 1956, she is the daughter of Edmond Gendron, Sr. and the late Virginia (Arsenault) Gendron. She attended Chelmsford Schools and later went onto graduate from UMass Lowell with a degree in Finance. Ms. Fortner enjoyed the sites of New England, crocheting and weekend adventures with her family. Ms. Fortner is survived by her ex-husband and close friend Robert E. Fortner of Cadiz, KY; two daughters Carrie Fortner and Sara Khoury of Clarksville, TN, two grandsons, Matthew Khoury Jr. and Nathan Khoury both of Clarksville, TN. She is also survived by her brother Edmond Gendron, Jr. and his wife Jean of Winterhaven, Florida. As well as several step siblings, cousins, nieces and friends. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, September 18th from 5-8pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm, in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. IN HUDSON. Burial will be held at a later date.
