Name: Donna K. (Hanson) McEvoy Date: March 28th, 1939 - July 29th, 2009 Obituary: Donna K. (Hanson) McEvoy, 70, of Nashua, NH died Wed. July 29, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. Donna was born on March 28, 1939 in Haverhill, MA daughter of the late Herman H. and Arlene (Chase) Hanson and was the loving wife of Raymond McEvoy, of Nashua, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Donna graduated from Nashua High School in1957 and worked for over 25 years at Teledyne Electro Mechanisms, serving as both a supervisor and instructor. Donna was an active member of the Arlington Street United Methodist Church serving in many ways throughout the years. She loved crafts and even ran a crafting business in Milford, NH. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Besides her loving husband, Donna is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law; Lynne & Kevin Stickney and Lee & Jim Burke, all of Atkinson, NH and Laurie and Kevin O'Connell of Silver Spring, MD. Two sisters; Sharon Cloutier and her husband Maurice of Nashua, NH and Janet West of Salem, NH. A brother-in-law; Wilfred McEvoy of Woburn, MA. A sister-in-law; Pearl Gilbert and her husband Albert of Manchester, NH. Six grandchildren; Brandon, Coty, Jacob, Connor, Hayley and Morgan and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday August 1st from 9-11am in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 370 MAIN ST., NASHUA, with a prayer service beginning at 10:30am. Immediately following prayers, burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Nashua. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Home Health & Hospice Care, 22 Prospect St., Nashua 03060.
