Karl M. Boff, 60, of Nashua, NH died Mon. July 27, 2009 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH surrounded by his loving family.
Karl was born on Aug. 25, 1948 in Baltimore, MD son of the late Gordon F. and Anna (Yokubait) Boff and was the loving husband of Michele (Beaudette) Boff of Nashua, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.
Karl served his country honorably during the Vietnam War as a Marine and then later retired from the Army. Throughout his military service he became highly decorated, including 4 Purple Hearts and Bronze Star with valor.
Karl Loved cooking and spent a great deal of his life as a professional chef and attained many awards and achievements in this field. He loved Playing cards, especially Poker, but above all he loved his family and the joy that they brought to his life.
Besides his loving wife, Karl is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law; Leon C. and Jennifer Boff of Pembroke, NH and Kenneth J. Boff of Nashua. A sister and brother-in-law; Karen and Daniel Mclaughlin of Troy, NY. Two granddaughters; Victoria Boff and Krista Boff both of Pembroke and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Thurs. July 30th from 5-8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. HUDSON. A funeral will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday July 31st at 10:30am. Public may meet at the Funeral home at 10:15am. Burial will be at a future date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the American Institute of Cancer Research (AICR), Dept. IHW1, 1759 R St. NW, Washington DC 2000 and / or Home Health & Hospice Care, 22 Prospect St., Nashua, NH 03060.
