Obituary:
Thomas P. Madden U.S.M.C. Ret. CWO4, 77, of Hudson, NH died Fri. July 17, 2009 at the Courville at Nashua nursing home in Nashua.

Thomas was born New York, NY on July 22, 1931 son of the late Peter and Nora (Moyles) Madden and was the loving husband of Elizabeth A. Madden (2008) with whom he had shared 53 years of marriage.

He was a decorated Korean War veteran that had served for more than 41 years with the U.S. Marines. He worked for the N.Y. Telephone Company for 33 years. He was a 4th-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching football and golf, but above all loved his family and will be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include two daughters; Jean Anne Bowersox and her husband George of Hudson and Nancy Hall and her husband Robert of Richboro, PA. Three sons; Kevin Madden and his wife Sandra of Bedford,NH, Charles Madden and his wife Beth of Wantagh, NY and Thomas Madden and his wife Michelle of Salisbury,NH. Thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting Hours will be held on Tues. July 21st from 5-8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST., HUDSON. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wed. July 22nd at 9:30am in Blessed John XXIII Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library St., Hudson. All May Meet At Church. A Graveside service will take place at 1pm in the NH state Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscowen, NH. All May Meet At the Cemetery.

Memorials:
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the NH Veteran’s Home, 139 Winter St., Tilton, NH 03276-5415.
