Name: James Wadsworth Rice Date: August 21st, 1961 - July 9th, 2009 Obituary: James Wadsworth Rice, 47 of Hudson died Thursday July 9, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. He was born August 21, 1961 in Newton, MA son of Abbott and Annie (Kempton) Rice of Hudson. Jimmy was a 25 year member of the Wattanick Grange in Hudson and was also a member of the Hudson Community Church. He was an avid photographer who regularly won awards for his work. Jimmy loved to collect old movies and take long New England drives while listening to music. He enjoyed working in the garden and was an avid reader. He held a passion for politics, especially local politics. Throughout the years he held various employment positions in the Hudson and Nashua area which included Jordan’s Furniture and Sam’s Club. Besides his loving parents survivors include two brothers and two sisters in law; Abbott Jr. “Rick” and Kelley Rice of Hudson, David and Laurel Rice of Wakefield, MA. A sister and a brother in law; Beverly and Frank Tedeschi of Plymouth, NH. As well as 3 nieces and 4 nephews. Visiting Hours will be held on Tues. July 14th from 6-8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. IN HUDSON. A Prayer Service will be held on Wed. at 10am in the funeral home. All may meet at 9:45am. Burial will be in Newton Center Cemetery, Newton MA.
